In order to ensure the timely repair of you instrument, we ask that you please fill out the repair sheet and include it with your instrument when sending to Elcometer for repair/calibration.
Important: Please make sure that when returning instrument you include probes(s) and accessories. Have batteries, spare probes, all functions been checked?
You will be contacted with a repair estimate for an approval. Repairs will not be started until approved and a method of payment has been given. You are responsible for return shipping charges.
Minimum charge for Non-Warranty Repair: $50.00 USD
Under ISO 9001 certification, accredited companies must identify in their procedures the frequency of re-certification of all test equipment. Elcometer offers all customers a full re-certification and re-calibration service upon request.
How often should I re-certify Elcometer Gauges?
The simple answer to this question is whenever your ISO procedures state. Elcometer, however, suggest as a guide, that on normal usage, gauges should be re-certified every 12 months.
