Elcometer 99 Tape is used to assess the adhesion of ductile coatings to metallic substrates according to the ASTM D3359-09, ASTM D3359-17 and ASTM D3359-22 standards. It may be used for both referenced test methods: ASTM D3359 Method A – X-Cut Tape Test and ASTM D3359 Method B – Cross-Cut (Cross Hatch) Tape Test.

This tape has been batch tested at the factory using ASTM Test Method D3330/D3330M, Test Method A. This method is equivalent to the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council (PSTC) 101 standard - commonly known as PSTC 101. A copy of the batch test certificate relevant to each roll is included with purchase.
