Elcometer offers a comprehensive range of vacuum tables to provide an ideal surface for manual application of films on test charts or samples and is available in two formats:

• The Elcometer 4900 - made of perforated aluminium, keeps a wider range of test pieces absolutely flat (2.3µm variation over a 100mm length), including glass, plastic sheets, contrast charts etc.

The perforated version is suitable for thicker, more substantial test pieces. The channel version is suitable for thinner materials such as plastics and films which may distort under the perforated version method.

All beds are engineered to be flat and precise with little variation for "perfect" flatness. Both Elcometer standard tables, channelled and perforated vacuum tables are 5 times flatter than glass.

Vacuum Pump | US 110V | Elcometer 4900 and 4340 Vacuum Tables

110V Vacuum pump for use with Elcometer 4900 and 4340 series perforated and channeled vacuum tables. Unlike applicators with built in vacuum pumps, the Elcometer range is designed with a vacuum pump separate from the testing apparatus. This design is critical to minimize the effect of pump vibration on film application. This pump is custom manufactured to provide the ideal vacuum pressure to firmly fit our range of test charts to the table without causing dimpling or rippling to the test chart - providing a smooth and repeatable testing.
