Elcometer 1615 Kit C 2 lb Falling Weight
The Elcometer 1615 2 lb (908 g) falling weight is designed for use with
the Elcometer 1615 Impact Tester when configured as Kit C.
It applies a controlled impact force to coated test panels, helping users
evaluate how a coating responds to rapid deformation and impact.
The Elcometer 1615 is supplied as a universal tester assembly with a choice
of six different kits, allowing the instrument to support a range of impact
testing methods. This 2 lb falling weight forms part of the Kit C
configuration.

When used as part of the complete Elcometer 1615 Kit C configuration, the
equipment supports impact testing in accordance with the following
standards:

- ASTM D5420
- BS 6496:1984
- EN 12206-1
Suitable for coating laboratories, paint manufacturers and quality-control
departments, this Elcometer 1615 falling weight can be used as a replacement
or additional 2 lb weight for compatible Kit C impact-testing setups.

This product is intended for use with the Elcometer 1615 Impact Tester. The
falling weight alone does not include the punch, die, fixing screw, wrench
or universal tester assembly unless otherwise stated.
