Dual FNF probes measure both ferrous and non-ferrous applications with automatic substrate detection. Elcometer 456 FNF gauges accept all ferrous, non-ferrous and dual FNF probes.

Every Elcometer 456 gauge and separate probe is supplied with a Test Certificate free of charge. For separate gauges, the test measurements are generated using factory reference probes.

Unless stated, Elcometer separate probes have a maximum operating temperature of 150°C (300°F), PINIP™ probes have a maximum operating temperature of 80°C (176°F).

The all New Elcometer 456 Plug In Integral Probe (PINIP) Hi-Temp (480°F) Ferrous Substrate Probe is designed to work with our Elcometer 456 Separate Gauges.

Designed to measure coatings at temperatures up 480°F.

Probe attaches to a separate gauge to give the performance and profile of an integral probe gauge.

Includes two calibration foils that allow calibration over the work piece when at high temperature thereby increasing accuracy by calibrating to the specific magnetic properties of the substrate at temperature.

For higher resolution & accuracy on thin coatings Scale 2 gauges can be switched to the Scale 1 mode measurement performance.
